The British media outlet have mentioned that the Blues are willing to sell the 24-year-old due to financial concerns and are going to ask for a fee of £25million.
Man Utd are looking at players under 25 to reinforce the team and are preparing an offer for Chalobah to strengthen the backline at Old Trafford.
The former Ipswich Town loanee is a versatile talent, who can effectively play in the central defense and also in the right back position.
Our View
Man Utd conceded 58 goals in the Premier League last term and there is no doubt they must splash the cash to solve the situation at the back.
It must be remembered that the 20-time English champions suffered a massive injury crisis in the defensive third and the last thing they need is signing another injury prone defender.
Chalobah missed majority of the games due to a thigh concern and only started 10 PL fixtures for Chelsea under the management of Argentine boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
