Man Utd have made four high-profile additions to the squad this summer – Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. Three out of the four have already made their debut for the Red Devils whilst the Frenchman is still injured.
When new signings come into the club, understandably, departures need to happen to ensure that the club falls within the PSR guidelines in the Premier League. Thus Man Utd might be keen on moving on some of the players in the squad.

The Red Devils still don’t seem to be done with signing for the summer but first need to ensure that they clear out some of the deadwood. As per the Sun, Man Utd are prepared to agree a deal to sell Scott McTominay and are asking for around £35m to sell him.
This isn’t the first time that McTominay has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford. The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a transfer to West Ham last summer only for a last-minute U-turn that saw him stay in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
McTominay ended up playing quite a crucial role for Ten Hag’s team last season, often coming off the bench and chipping in with important goals. The £78,000 a week is a good squad player to keep in the mix for any Premier League team.
Like every other footballer, McTominay is a player who comes with his strengths and weaknesses and it’s important for the coach to understand his game to get the best out of him. He can be used as a lethal box-to-box midfielder who can crash late into the box and score goals.
After looking very close to leaving the club last summer, McTominay finally looks set to bid adieu to his career at Man Utd. Let’s see how things go for the 27-year-old going forward.
