The African star is one of the best right/wing backs in the world, who has proved to be solid at the back and also productive in the attacking third.

The news source mention that if the player is forced out of PSG, he would like to move to a Champions League club.

Chelsea are also interested in the former Inter Milan star but they will not be able to offer him CL football next season and that is why, Man Utd are now ahead in the race.

The Old Trafford club are willing to meet the asking price of £50-£60million to hire the services of Hakimi in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old directly contributed in 17 goals in Inter’s Scudetto winning campaign (2020-21). Moreover, he scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists in PSG’s Ligue 1 winning season last term.

He was one of the superstars at the FIFA World Cup. Hakimi helped Morocco keep clean sheets against European giants, Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

He netted the winning spot kick in the Round of 16 against the La Roja and played in every fixture for his nation, who were eventually knocked out by France in the semi-final.

In terms of attacking threat, neither Dalot nor Wan-Bissaka are good enough for Man Utd and therefore an offense-minded right back must be lured.

Achraf Hakimi’s current deal with the French champions will expire in 2026 and he earns around £215,000 a week (The Sun).

In your view, should Man Utd agree the asking fee to sign him?
