Man Utd prepared to agree four year contract to secure signing of £27.7million player – Face competition

Sergio Reguilon Real Madrid

Manchester United have been interested in signing Sergio Reguilon for some time and the latest reports suggest that they are prepared to agree a long term contract to lure the Spaniard.

Few days back, we covered a report (via Sport) claiming that the Red Devils would be ready to agree a deal worth 5 million euros with the defender.

Transfer: Man Utd want signing done in days – Valued £80million by Red Devils

Yesterday, AS reported that Man United have offered the left back an attractive four year contract to move to Old Trafford. It is further stated that the PL club would even be willing to splash 30 million euros to get his signing done (£27.7million).

Earlier this month, AS claimed that Real Madrid could demand a fee of £27.7million for the 23-year-old and might want to include a buy back option as well.

The renowned Spanish outlet have now mentioned that no club will enter a contract to allow the player to move back to the Los Blancos. In such a scenario, Reguilon is confused and finds himself in a complex scenario.

He knows that moving to Manchester United might block his path to return to the place he was born and he considers Madrid as his dream club.

Therefore, even though he has also got offers on the table from Italian sides like Napoli, Inter Milan and champions Juventus, he is strongly considering joining Sevilla on loan again

Reguilon excelled last term in Sevilla’s Europa League winning campaign. They also finished fourth in the table and will be taking part in this season’s Champions League.

AS claim that the Andalusian club are pushing to hire his services for another year on loan, without an option to make his move permanent and without any option to have first refusal to sign him. This would suit Madrid and the player as well.

For United, the best and perhaps the only way to secure his signing is to make him a highly lucrative offer that he won’t be able to refuse. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days.

  1. United are hoping to sign PSG Star mbappe whose price is €164m, united are also eyeing at ansu fati of barca whose price is €150m, and then sancho’s deal which currently united are on is valued at €1000-€120m which united are unable to seal. Now i wanna challenge the board that when they suceed in signing sancho at €108m then the united fans will belief the board can equally sign antu fati, and mbappe if they sign sancho before weekend.
