Manchester United have been linked with Jules Kounde lately and the latest reports going on in the media are intriguing.
According to La Razon, Man Utd are prepared to move in with a bid worth £61million (70 million euros) to sign the French central defender from Sevilla in the summer.
The renowned news source have mentioned that Real Madrid would be looking to replace Ramos, who will be out of contract in the summer, but they will not be able to reach the figure of 70 million euros that the Red Devils could offer
La Razon further state that after losing out on Upamecano, PSG could look to activate 90 million euros release clause in Kounde’s contract to hire his services but the French champions would only be able to offer such an amount if they end up selling Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
As per a report covered by Sport yesterday, the former Monaco forward has decided to stay put this summer, play one more year for Paris Saint-Germain and then leave on a free transfer in 2022.
After the game against West Brom, Old Trafford legend Gary Neville heavily criticized the central defensive partnership at Man Utd and stated (MNF via The Mail):
“I want to make a point on Lindelof. Lindelof’s problem is Maguire, Maguire’s problem is Lindelof.”
Yesterday, we did publish a story explaining how well Jules Kounde has performed for Sevilla under the management of former Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui. The question is, is the 22-year-old good enough to strengthen Solskjaer’s defense?
