Manchester United were linked with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic last summer and once again, the Serbian international has been constantly linked with the Red Devils.
Earlier this month, Foot Mercato covered a story and claimed that the Old Trafford club have already initiated talks and are moving with high gear to secure his signing. The French outlet reported that the 20-time English champions offered a fee of over £95million last summer but it was rejected.

More recently, La Gazzetta Dello Sport have claimed that Man Utd are pressing to finally sign the Lazio star this summer but they face competition from French champions Paris Saint-Germain, who are also pushing to secure his signature.
The well-known Italian source have mentioned that the Serie A side are one of the firm favorites to qualify for the next season’s Champions League and if that happens, then there is a strong chance that they will be able to hold on to Milinkovic-Savic again.
Lazio are currently in second place just a point behind league leaders Juventus and their 25-year-old midfielder has been highly impressive this term.
In all competitions, the former Genk man directly contributed in 12 goals (5 goals and 7 assists) in 29 starts (all competitions) before the suspension of football in Italy last month.
The major dilemma for the Red Devils is that top players want to play in the top tier of European Football i.e. the Champions League and at the moment, United occupy the first Europa League qualification spot being fifth in the Premier League.
Manchester United do need to sign a top quality midfielder, especially if Paul Pogba ends up leaving Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
As per reports (Ill Messggero), it would take a club record breaking offer of £104million for Man Utd to secure the signing of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the comings months.
