Transfer: Man United ready bid to sign £47.3million+ man – Report

The Italian journalist, who works for The Guardian, was talking to Don Robbie and claimed that the Red Devils are serious about signing the teenage sensation, who has decided not to agree a new deal with Rennes.

In such a situation, the Ligue 1 club have to sell the player in order to avoid losing him for absolutely nothing next year. Romano said:

“Manchester United are in direct contact with people close to the player and close to Rennes, they want to sign him this summer because they know that while waiting for next summer, as a free agent, is a big opportunity in terms of a financial view, but that many clubs will be in the race.”

Romano further stated that he thinks the Old Trafford outfit will make an official move to sign the 18-year-old starlet because they are really determined to hire his services.

Man Utd have not strengthened the midfield department since signing Brazilian international Fred in the summer of 2018. Back then, Jose Mourinho was in charge at the club.

Camavinga is a highly talented player, who scored an overhead kick to open his account for France and became the youngest goal scorer for the Les Bleus since Maurice Gastiger in 1914. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming weeks.
