Man Utd ready record breaking bid to sign £362,000 a week star – Report

Kane and Son Spurs

Manchester United are looking to move into a new direction under Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese tactician is still very young in his managerial career but will come in with his own set of ideas, after an exceptionally successful stint at Sporting CP.

While Amorim would definitely want to make signings, it remains to be seen how much of a rope Sir Jim Ratcliffe & co. are willing to extend to him, considering how much money they spent on signings back in the summer.

Regardless, this hasn’t stopped the club from aiming for the stars. As per Catalan source, Nacional, Man Utd are set to rival PSG and are willing to submit a club record bid to sign Bayern Munich superstar Harry Kane.

It hasn’t even been two full seasons since Kane made the move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern. He went to the Bundesliga club in search of the first trophy of his career, something he has failed to achieve until now.

As fate would have it, his first season with the German giants coincided with one of their first ever trophyless seasons in a long time.

Now, as per the report, Man Utd are readying a bid of around £108.2m to sign Kane. The English striker is on course to winning his first trophy with Bayern this season and once he does that, he could entertain a move back to the Premier League.

One thing that Kane could potentially be looking at is breaking Alan Shearer’s record for most goals in the Premier League.

The £362,000 a week Englishman doesn’t have much time left in his prime and once he has won a trophy, he could consider returning to the English top-flight.

It remains to be seen if Manchester United are willing to make such a significant outlay for a player who is on the wrong side of his 30s.

That said, Kane could be like Lewandowski and still have a long time left in his prime and let’s wait and see how his future plays out going forward.
