Man Utd ready to attack to sign £34million wanted star – Report

Camavinga Mbappe

Manchester United seem serious about signing Eduardo Camavinga as they look to reinforce their midfield department in the summer transfer window.

According to a report covered by L’Equipe today (via Sport Witness), Man Utd are ready to move in and attack to sign the French international, whose current deal with Rennes will expire in 2022.

Transfer: From Italy – Man Utd agree £47million fee with club for signing

The famous French outlet have mentioned that the Ligue 1 side were initially looking to get a fee of 100 million euros from the sale of their prized asset.

However, it is stated that thus far, they have not received any official offer for the defensive midfielder so, they could settle for just 40 million euros (£34million).

The teenage boy is wanted man in the market and L’Equipe claim that the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and European Champions Chelsea have him on their radars as well.

The youngster made his debut for the Les Bleus back in September 2020 and so far, he has already made three appearances under the management of Didier Deschamps (scored 1 goal).

With Nemanja Matic past his best, Man Utd definitely need to sign a top holding midfield star, who would be able to serve the club in the long run. In April, The Athletic covered a comprehensive report on Camavinga covering his impressive stats as a play breaker.

Ole has not improved the midfield since signing for the Red Devils and the Norwegian manager must finally splash the cash this summer to sign a top player. In your view, should he spend £34million to bring Eduardo Camavinga to Old Trafford?
