Man Utd ready to bid £50.6m – Star allowed to sign for Red Devils – Report

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Erik ten Hag is looking to improve his defense for the next campaign and Man Utd are seriously after Napoli’s Kim Min-Jae.

As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), the South Korean star is allowed to join the Red Devils.

Transfer: Man Utd lead, would double salary to sign £75,000 a week forward – Report

The Italian news source have mentioned that club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, does not want to sell star striker, Victor Osimhen and will do everything possible to hold on to the Nigerian.

However, the 73-year-old “will not oppose” Min-Jae’s move to Manchester United.

The renowned Italian media outlet claim Man Utd are ready to bid 58 million euros (£50.6m) to sign the quality central defender in the summer transfer window.

Min-Jae’s current deal has a release clause valid from 1st to 15th July and the Old Trafford outfit are ready to complete the signing in that period.

In the current campaign, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have mainly featured in the central defense under Ten Hag.

The dilemma is that the duo have been in and out of the starting XI due to multiple fitness concerns. On the other hand, captain, Maguire, has not been reliable.

Kim replaced club legend, Koulibaly, at Napoli and proved to be an instant hit in the Scudetto winning campaign. Is he good enough to be a hit in the Premier League? Only time will tell.

Have your say – Should Man Utd bid £50.6m to secure his signing?
