Manchester United are leading the race to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea after agreeing personal terms with the player.
Now, the Red Devils must agree a fee with the Blues to get the deal over the line but things may get complicated.

According to The Guardian (news image provided below), negotiations are ongoing and Man Utd are ready to offer £60million to seal the signing this summer.
Mount’s contract at Stamford Bridge will expire on June 30, 2024 and the above mentioned valuation seems fair.
However, as per The Sun, Chelsea are looking to get around £70million from the sale of their playmaker, who has been a key part of their recent success.
The British outlet claim Man Utd could offer out of favor, Harry Maguire, valued at £30million, in order to sign the 24-year-old star.
Mount was a key member of the England squad that reached the final of the Euro 2020 and the last eight at the FIFA World Cup. So far, he has made 36 appearances for the Three Lions.
He netted 13 goals and provided 16 assists in the 2021-2022 campaign but only managed to directly contributed in 9 goals in the injury hit last season.
The Three Lions star has only seen 16 minutes of Premier League action since February this year and questions should be asked whether an amount worth £60million should be splashed for his services.

Man Utd need more strikers and some of them like Rashford and Sancho keep losing possession of the ball so easily and often. More alertness needed to help the goalie by defending properly.
