The famous German journalist stated (Sky):

“Manchester United really want him. We’re hearing that he’s also ranked higher than Kolo Muani internally”

Osimhen has been in sensational form for the Italian club this season. He is leading the goalscoring chart in the Serie A with 21 goals. Inter Milan’s Martinez is in second place with 14 goals.

Moreover, in the UEFA Champions League, so far, the former Lille striker has netted 4 goals in as many starts under Spalletti.

In the midweek, the 24-year-old scored a brace vs Frankfurt to book Napoli’s place in the last eight. They will face reigning Italian champions, AC Milan, next month.

Last night, Osimhen netted 2 goals in the 4-0 victory against Torino and now, the Naples club have a 19 point lead on top of the table.

As per a recent report covered by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, it will be hard to hold on to the the star center forward because he is a wanted man in the market.

The renowned news source claim that if Man Utd come up with an offer of over £87.6m (100 million euros), it could be accepted.

As per GdS, the African superstar earns 5 million euros (with bonuses) per season i.e. around £85,000 a week and if the suitors opt to double his wages, then it will be hard for Aurelio de Laurentiis to keep him.

Man Utd badly need a proven quality goalscorer to feature in the No. 9 role. Should they offer over £87.6m to sign Victor Osimhen?
