Man Utd have agreed a five-year deal with the 22-year-old until 2027 and have an option to extend the contract for a further year.

As far as the wages are concerned, according to Mirror Sport, the former Sao Paulo man will be taking home £200,000-a-week i.e. £10.4million-a-year.

After completing the signing, sporting director, John Murtough stated:

“Antony is one of the most exciting young talents in European football and has exactly the right profile for the attacking, dynamic team Erik is building.”

“We have been especially impressed by his desire to join Manchester United, and to be part of a long-term project to get the club back to the levels of performance we all expect.”

Ten Hag brought Antony from Brazil to the Netherlands and now, the two will create magic at Old Trafford.

The Samba star won two Eredivisie titles under the guidance of the Dutch boss and last season, he directly contributed in over 20 goals for Ajax.

Will he be able to replicate the top form in the Premier League. We shall see.

For now, United’s focus should be on tonight’s fixture against Leicester City and it would too early to see Antony in action. He could make his debut against league leaders, Arsenal, on Sunday.
