Man Utd still lead to sign £190,000-a-week attacker – There is a twist

Jadon Sancho Dortmund

Almost on daily basis, there are rumors in the media about the future of Jadon Sancho and today, there is another update.

Last night, we covered a report (via Sunday World) claiming that the England international is prepared to move to Old Trafford and has told Dortmund that he wants to exit the club this summer.

Transfer: £44million attacking midfielder could decide to sign for Manchester United

However, as per an exclusive update provided by The Sun earlier in the day, the Three Lions attacker is considering making a move back to Manchester City in case the Red Devils fail to meet BvB’s mammoth asking price of £115million.

The renowned British source have mentioned that Man Utd still lead to sign the 20-year-old star but due to the coronavirus outbreak, it is hard for them to come close to paying the above mentioned fee.

Sancho has contributed in goals for fun since moving to Germany and the £190,000-a-week attacker (The Mail) has the quality to improve our attacking department.

Still, in all honesty, the price tag of £115million seems unreachable during the current crisis.

As far as Man City are concerned, in the past few years, the Sky Blues have splashed a lot of cash to strengthen the team under the management of Pep Guardiola and the results have been fruitful for them.

However, at the moment, they are under scrutiny and have to clear their name from breaking FFP rules in order to play in Europe next term. So, in the middle of the legal process, it will be weird and will surely raise eyebrows if the Citizens opt to make an enormous bid of £115million to bring Jadon Sancho back.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days and will keep you updated.

  1. If United don’t get him Woodward is not going to be taken seriously and United will be a laughing stock outmanoeuvred every transfer window.
