The Slovenian news source have mentioned that the teenage star has also received offers from Chelsea and French champions, Paris Saint-Germain.

RB Salzburg do not want to lose their prized asset and insist on not selling him but it is stated that the situation can change if the youngster plans to leave the club this summer.

The 13-capped international’s current contract with the Austrian Bundesliga club will expire in the summer of 2026 and as per The Daily Mail, a fee of £55million would be needed to get his signing done.

Over the years, Salzburg have developed top-quality forwards. Erling Haaland rose to fame at the club before moving to Dortmund and now, the Norwegian plays for PL champions, Manchester City.

On the other hand, the likes of Patson Daka and Karim Adeyemi scored for fun for the Austrian champions and now play for Leicester City and Dortmund respectively.

At Old Trafford, Ten Hag surely needs a young and quality striker who can serve the club in the years come.

We have not replaced Cavani as yet and if Ronaldo leaves this summer then things could be problematic up front. It must be remembered that no United player has managed to score over 20 league goals in a season since Van Persie did it in the 2012-13 title-winning campaign.

In your opinion, should Man Utd pay £55million to sign Benjamin Sesko?
