Manchester United are looking to improve their fullback positions this summer and recently moved in with an offer to hire the services of Denzel Dumfries.
As per yesterday’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), the Red Devils, through intermediaries, submitted a swap proposal to sign the Dutch international from Inter Milan.

The Rome based media outlet mention that Man Utd offered the services of English right back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka in exchange for Dumfries.
However, Inter ‘did not warm up’ to the idea and opted to rejected the bid for the £25.7m-rated Oranje star, whose current deal at the San Siro will expire in 2025.
Instead, Corriere dello Sport claim that the Nerazzurri would prefer a swap deal with Monaco’s Brazilian defender, Vanderson.
At Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag has made a habit of luring Dutch player or stars who have featured in the Dutch Eredivisie and therefore, the connection with Dumfries is not surprising.
The 28-year-old made 31 appearances for the Serie A giants in their Scudetto winning last campaign. He scored four goals and provided five assists in the competition.
Moreover, he made five appearances at the European Championships for the national side and helped them reach the last four.
The 58-capped star set up the decisive goal in the quarter finals against Turkey.
