If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United’s midfield target, Ryan Gravenberch, is willing to secure a move to Liverpool.
Last week, Foot Mercato revealed that the Reds and the Red Devils are looking to lure the Dutch international from Bayern Munich.
Transfer: Man Utd lead to seal signing of £44million star – Report
Yesterday, De Telegraaf reported the player is open to leaving the German champions in order to move to Anfield.
As per the famous news source, in a recent meeting, Gravenberch’s father and agent have made the Merseysiders aware that the midfielder is open to joining them.
The 20-year-old was a key member of Erik ten Hag’s side that won multiple domestic titles in the Netherlands, including the Eredivisie title last season.
Bayern Munich agreed a deal worth £22million (Goal) to hire him last year but since moving to Germany, the youngster has mainly featured on the bench.
So far, he has only started a single game in the Bundesliga this season.
It must be remembered that Man Utd were keen on signing Cody Gakpo but the Oranje playmaker opted to snub the Old Trafford outfit to join Liverpool in January.
Ten Hag needs to improve the central midfield and he is eager to re-unite with Gravenberch. It will be a huge setback to see another target join our arch rivals.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
