Man Utd to sign ex Feyenoord star as deal very close to white smoke – Report

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

After Onana and Hojlund (yet to be made official), Manchester United are set to continue splashing the cash in Italy.

According to Tutto Atalanta, the Red Devils have chosen to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, who are already looking to replace the Morrocan midfielder.

The Italian news source have mentioned that the deal to sign the ex Feyenoord player is very close to the ‘white smoke’.

The Viola aim to collect a fee of 30 million euros from the sale of the 26-year-old midfielder and have clear ideas about how to re-invest the funds to improve the squad.

It is reported that the Serie A side are targeting the signing of Argentine international and Bologna star, Nicolas Dominguez, who is waiting for Fiorentina to move.

Despite the ownership saga, Erik ten Hag has been backed in the transfer market by the Old Trafford club and now it is up to the Dutch manager to make the team progress.

United were able to earn third place in the Premier League last term but they ended the campaign twenty four points behind champions, Manchester City.

The expected arrival of Amrabat will further reinforce things in the center of the park for Man Utd, who have already lured English midfielder, Mason Mount, from Chelsea this summer.

Have your say – Who should Man Utd sign next to strengthen the squad for the next season?
