The renowned Spanish source have mentioned that the suitors have been made aware that to sign the 28-year-old center half, a four-year contract worth £46million (55 million euros) must be agreed. For Man Utd, interim boss, Rangick can play a vital role to complete the deal as he has a good relationship with the Kaiser’s representative.
It is stated that the European Champions, who offered him a deal worth £140,000 a week in the summer, will also have to agree a £46million contract (over £220,000 a week) to hold onto their prized asset.
The former Roma man has so far started 30 games in all competitions this term and helped the Stamford Bridge outfit keep 14 clean sheets. Not only that, in the attack, he has directly contributed in 7 goals (3 goals and 4 assists).
At Old Trafford, the arrival of Raphael Varane in the summer has not helped as the performances at the back have been highly inconsistent.
