Man Utd told £83.6million fee would secure signing to replace duo – Report

Osimhen Nigeria center forward

Manchester United have been linked with quality forwards lately and once again the name of Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, is in the focus.

According to a report covered by La Gazzetta Dello Sport yesterday (press image provided below), several Premier League clubs are interested in hiring the services of the striker and the Red Devils are in the race as well.

Transfer: Man United ready £33.6million bid to sign star – Report

The renowned Italian news source have mentioned the Old Trafford outfit could end up losing both Cavani and Ronaldo in the summer and they are evaluating options to replace the duo.

For Osimhem, it is stated that Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, does not want to sell the club’s prized asset but might not be able to refuse if the offer is a big one.

GdS claim that the Naples-based side are demanding a fee of 100 million euros (£83.6million) to offload the 23-year-old center forward.

The 18-capped Nigerian has been in top form for the Serie A side this season. In all competitions, so far, he has started 20 games and directly contributed in 19 goals (15 goals and 4 assists).

Man Utd’s top scorer is none other than Ronaldo, who has netted 18 goals in 33 appearances so far in the current campaign. The 37-year-old does not have much support and in all fairness, the team needs a young quality striker for the long term.

In your view, should Man Utd offer £83.6million to sign Osimhen? Is the African star good enough to replace Cavani and Ronaldo at Old Trafford?
