Man Utd transfer boost as they press to sign £120million star – Report

Old-Trafford

Manchester United completed the signing of Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Now, reports indicate that Man Utd are pressing to lure yet another player from the Bavarians in the form of Jamal Musiala.

Transfer – From Spain – Man Utd have made contact to sign £325,000 a week playmaker

According to The Daily Star, the German international has turned down the latest contract offer from the Bundesliga giants and is looking for a huge deal that will make him earn £300,000 a week.

The 21-year-old starlet is already one of the best playmakers in the world, but takes home an extremely low salary of £81,000 a week considering the highest earner at the Allianz, Harry Kane, earns over £400,000 a week.

Musiala surely deserves a bumper pay rise and if he cannot get that deal at Bayern then the likes of Man Utd and other suitors can jump in to secure his signing.

His latest contract rejection is a boost for the Premier League where apart from the Red Devils, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in signing him.

The English sides face the biggest threat in the form of Real Madrid, who always seem to get their transfer targets.

Among the above mentioned sides, Man Utd are the only ones who are not taking part in the Champions League this season and they must return to the continent’s elite competition to have any chance of signing Musiala.

As far as the market value is concerned, The Star claim, the Kaiser, who was named in the UEFA Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament, is rated at £120million.

Have your say – Do you think Man Utd can convince Musiala to move to Old Trafford?
