Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester United several times and once again his name is in the lime light.
The England international is one of the best strikers around, who has consistently performed well for Spurs but has not won a single title with them. Therefore, the 27-year-old should really look to leave the club.
Transfer: Man United told £71million offer could agree fee to sign ‘quality’ player – Face competition
Last year, The Mail reported that the Three Lions star is keen on moving to Old Trafford. However, in the end he stayed put and Solskjaer only managed to sign a veteran in the form of Edinson Cavani.
Now, according to a recent report covered by The Mirror, Man Utd want to finally sign a proven striker and Kane and Haaland are on the wanted list.
Solskjaer has mainly used Anthony Martial in the No.9 role and the French attacker has not been able to shine. He is not even a natural center forward and the British outlet have mentioned that his time at Old Trafford is almost over.
On the other hand, Cavani’s best days are well behind him and he will turn 35 next year. In such a scenario, someone like Kane would largely amplify the quality of our strike-force.
The star forward has been in world class form for Spurs this term. In all competitions, so far, he has featured in 37 games and directly contributed (Transfermarkt) in no fewer than 42 goals (26 goals and 16 assists).
The £200,000-a-week star (The Mail) has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice and he was the top scorer at the 2018 FIFA World Cup as well. His current contract with the north Londoners will expire in 2024, so it will be fair to say that he will not be available for cheap.
In your opinion, who should Man Utd sign to strengthen their strike-force in the summer?
Harry kane will be 💯 percent welcome at man United
