Transfer: Serious Man Utd in contact to secure signing of £56.4million star – Journalist
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then Man Utd can finally get his signing done for a discounted price.
According to Bild, Dortmund are prepared to sell their prized asset in the next transfer window. Last year, he was valued at 120 million euros.
However, the German source have mentioned that this year, the Bundesliga side have put him up for sale for a little ‘Corona discount’ and Man Utd have been warned that the only way to finally get his signing done is by paying 100 million euros (£87million).
The Old Trafford outfit have a top quality star in the form of Rashford for the left flank and a world class playmaker in the No.10 role in the form of Fernandes. They need a proven quality right winger because the likes of James and Greenwood are not up to the mark as yet.
Greenwood has netted 4 goals in the last 4 league games but overall, in 27 appearances in the Premier League this term, he has only found the net 5 times.
Sancho has regularly scored and created goals for BvB since joining them in the summer of 2018. This season, so far, in 31 starts in all competitions, the Three Lions attacker has directly contributed in 30 goals (12 goals and 18 assists). Not to forget, he directly contributed in 40 goals last season.
Have your say – Should Man Utd offer £87million to finally sign Jadon Sancho this summer?
