Manchester United are expected to lose star midfielder, Paul Pogba, yet again on a free transfer and they must replace him in the summer transfer window.

According to reports in the Italian media, the Red Devils have been interested in hiring the services of Serbian international, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

As per Tutto Mercato Web, Lazio have rejected big-money moves from Man Utd for the creative midfielder in the past. However, this summer, the player is expected to leave the Serie A side.

Keeping in view the potential departure of Pogba, the Italian news source have mentioned that Man United will return to finally sign Milinkovic-Savic.

It is stated that the Old Trafford outfit have cash ready to sign the 27-year-old star and they will not have to issue a promissory note.

According to a story covered by Tutto Sport yesterday, Man Utd are one of the most interested teams and it could take a fee of 70 million euros (£60million) to sign Milinkovic-Savic.

Apart from Pogba, the Red Devils will also be losing Nemanja Matic, so, Ten Hag will need to improve the quality and depth in the midfield.

United need a player in the center of the park and Milinkovic-Savic has been in brilliant form this term. In all competitions, the Serbian has scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists for Lazio.
