Manchester United are linked with Mexican international and PSV Eindhoven star Hirving Lozano as per reports going on in the media.
According to an exclusive story covered by Calcio Napoli 24, the Red Devils and Napoli are interested in the 23-year-old playmaker, who is valued at around £43m-£52m.
The Italian source have reported that the Old Trafford club would be willing to meet the asking price set by the Dutch side.
Lozano was fantastic for PSV in their title winning campaign last term. Moreover, he was brilliant for the national side at the 2018 World Cup. He scored the winning goal against Germany in the opening group game and provided a crucial assist in the second contest vs South Korea.
This season, so far, the former Pachuca star has featured in 23 league games for the Eredivisie leaders and directly contributed in 22 goals (14 goals and 8 assists). In all competitions, he has netted 18 goals and provided 9 assists in 33 appearances.
Lozano is naturally a left winger but for PSV, he has mainly played on the right wing in the current campaign.
United’s first choice left winger is Martial and first choice right winger is Lingard. Alexis Sanchez is the backup option for the left wing and he has been poor since moving to Old Trafford. On the other hand, United do not have any decent backup option for the right wing.
Therefore, the Red Devils do need to improve the quality and depth of their wide attacking positions and the Mexican star would be a top capture if they can get his signing done in the summer.
