According to L’Equipe, Manchester United could agree a £31m deal with Sevilla for Clement Lenglet. The 22-year-old has been a regular for the Liga side and could be on his way to Old Trafford as the Red Devils could be losing up to three defenders this summer.

Daley Blind’s future at United appears grim. The 28-year-old spent last season on the periphery and has just 12 months remaining on his deal. United won’t want to lose him for nothing next year so they’re likely to cash in this summer. Marcos Rojo could follow him through the exit door, as he’s been used sparingly and has fallen down the pecking order.

As for Victor Lindelof, he’s been linked with a loan move away from United just one year after signing from Benfica. If the Red Devils lose three central defenders this summer, they’ll be desperate for new recruits to join Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling. Lenglet might be the solution if they can agree a £31m deal for his signature.

The French u21 international has made 73 appearances for Sevilla since making the 2017-switch from AS Nancy Lorraine. He has three years left on his deal with the Spaniards, but a move could be on the cards this summer.
