Manchester United conceded 58 goals in the Premier League last term and desperately needed to reinforce the backline this summer.
The Red Devils are now set to seal their second defender signing of the transfer window by bringing in Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

According to Foot Mercato journalist, Santi Aouna, Mazraoui will join Man Utd and the deal to sign him is almost done.
The French reporter has mentioned that Bayern have authorized the Moroccan international to complete his move to Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old is now expected to fly soon with his medical scheduled next week. He has already agreed a five year contract with the Premier League side and the transfer would soon become official.
Aouna has not mentioned the fee that has been agreed between the two clubs but previous reports have indicated that Bayern value him at around £25million.
A few hours back, Manchester United were ripped apart by arch rivals, Liverpool, in the United States even though the Anfield club have not secured a single signing this summer.
Ten Hag lured Leny Yoro to reinforce the defense but the French teenager has suffered an injury, much to the despair of the United faithful.
Not sure how signing another injury prone player in the form of Noussair Mazraoui is going to help Man Utd.
Last season, the African defender missed 19 games for the Bavarians due to fitness concerns and does not have an overall solid record.
In such a scenario, do you think Man Utd are making the right decision by signing Mazraoui?
