Manchester United are closer to securing the signing of Joshua Zirkzee after agreeing to buying out the contract by activating the release clause.
The Old Trafford outfit have already agreed personal terms with the Oranje center forward and also reached an agreement with the representative, Kia Joorabchian.

As per an exclusive story covered by Caught Offside, Man Utd have now agreed to pay the release clause of 40 million euros to sign Zirkzee.
The news source have mentioned that the deal is close and the Red Devils are looking to finalize the signing in days, by the end of this week.
Last season, Man Utd seriously lacked goal scorers in the team. Rashford, who was able to net 30 times in the 22-23 campaign, only scored 8 goals last term.
Rasmus Hojlund was the leading scorer in all competitions but he only found the net 16 times, 10 in the Premier League.
Therefore, it is evident that Man Utd must splash the cash to strengthen the striking department and the priority is to land Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
The 23-year-old only netted 11 goals in the Italian Serie A for the Rossoblu last season. Is he really good enough to solve the goalscoring problems at Old Trafford?
