Brazilian international Andreas Pereira spent last season on loan with Lazio. This summer, reports indicate that Manchester United are prepared to get rid of him on a permanent basis.

According to TNT Sports, Brazilian side Flamengo and Premier League club Everton have moved in with loan offers to hire the services of the Samba playmaker.

Transfer: From France – £25.4m star could agree Man Utd move before deadline

The news source have mentioned that Flamengo would like to share the player’s wages with the Red Devils and do not want an option to buy. On the other hand, the Toffees would like to include an option to make his move permanent after a year.

Renowned journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has recently revealed that the Goodison Park outfit have approached the Old Trafford club to lure the 25-year-old attacking midfielder on loan but the PL giants want to sell him once and for all.

The South American made 75 appearances for the 20-time English champions but never managed to earn a regular starting spot in the team. His current contract will expire in 2023 and as per TNT Sports, Man Utd are looking to get a fee of 25 million euros (£21.3million) from his exit.

I do not think anyone would pay that high an asking price to sign someone who was mainly a bench warmer in the last campaign.

Pereira failed to start even a single game in the UEFA Champions League for Lazio. On the other hand, he started just 3 games in the Italian Serie A under the management of Simone Inzaghi.

In the presence of CAMs like Fernandes and Van de Beek, there is definitely no space for the 1-capped international at Old Trafford and he must be sold in this transfer window.
