The Rome based media outlet have mentioned that out of all the suitors, to date, only Man Utd are ready to agree the fee of £33.7m and also pay the agent commission of £12.7m, without any problem, to secure Zirkzee.
The striker’s rep, Kia Joorabchian, would prefer to take the player to Old Trafford as he would be able to earn more.
However, CorSport claim Kia would have to hurt Zirkzee to take him to Man Utd.
The 23-year-old striker has told his rep that he would like to stay in Italy for another season. Secondly, he does not want to face ‘ruthless competition’ in the Premier League.
At Old Trafford, Danish international, Rasmus Hojlund, is the first choice center forward and Zirkzee will have to fight with him for a place in the starting XI under Ten Hag.
Corriere dello Sport claim Bologna are hoping to keep the player by bringing his younger brother, Jordan, to the club.
Moreover, even his father is pushing him to stay with the Rossoblu. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
