Rangnick’s probable 4-2-2-2 Man Utd XI vs Young Boys – Six changes

UCL Trophy

Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace at the weekend to start Ralf Rangnick’s reign in perfect manner. Next up, the Red Devils will face Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Swiss club were able to defeat the Old Trafford outfit earlier in the campaign but United turned things around and have now guaranteed a place in the KO stages of the competition as group winners.

Transfer: Contract already offered – Man Utd positioned to sign £10million a year player

Therefore, we can expect the German manager to make several changes in the squad that started vs the Eagles. In my view, six key changes would be made.

In the goal, Dean Henderson could replace Spanish international David De Gea. Aaron Wan-Bissaka could replace Dalot to start in the right back role and Bailly may return to partner skipper Maguire in the central defense.

As far as the midfield is concerned, veteran Nemanja Matic may get the nod to partner Brazilian international Fred, who scored the winning goal vs Palace,

In the attacking midfield, Dutch star, Donny van de Beek, should start in place of Portuguese star Fernandes. Sancho should retain his place. On the other hand, up front in the strike-force, Greenwood could replace Ronaldo to partner Rashford.

Here is Rangnick’s probable 4-2-2-2 Man Utd XI vs Young Boys:
