Jose Mourinho now wants to see Toni Kroos as a part of David de Gea transfer who is on Real Madrid’s radar for a couple of years now.
Mourinho is not delighted with his former club’s pursuit of De Gea, and he now demands Toni Kroos to be included in any deal for the Spain No. 1. Manchester United are not willing to open the negotiations for under £60 million, and it was reported that they are also interested in defender Raphael Varane, who can also be a part of a swap deal.
Mourinho is playing hardball with the Galacticos as he now asks for some of their star players to go the other way in order to finally scare off Real and end their pursuit of the goalkeeper. That puts Real Madrid in a tough position as they don’t want to part ways with the German midfielder, but neither is Mourinho willing to let De Gea go.
These mind games will continue in the coming weeks, and the current situation between the clubs is not so great, so we’ll have to wait and see how they will act when facing each other at the International Champions Cup in the United States. Also, these rivals are set to play in the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje on August 8.
