Report – £55million playmaker willing to secure Manchester United move

Dani Olmo first goal for Spain

Manchester United have been linked with Spanish international, Dani Olmo, for quite some time and the latest reports are intriguing.

Back in May, we covered a story via MD stating that the Red Devils have initiated a move to lure the RB Leipzig playmaker.

Transfer: Player has agreed £14.7million contract to sign for Manchester United – Report

The latest reports indicate Olmo would be willing to secure a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

According to an exclusive story covered by GMS, the La Roja star is open to joining the Old Trafford outfit to play in the Premier League.

Man Utd have a better chance of luring the Spaniard because Man City may not move for him as De Bruyne is set to stay. Moreover, Chelsea are not even in the race.

The news source claim that Olmo’s current deal with Leipzig has a clause worth £52million which is due to expire next week on Monday.

However, according to The Sun, the valuation of the clause is £55million and since Spain have reached the final of the European Championships, five extra days have been given for United to activate the termination clause.

Olmo is definitely a contender for the Player of the Tournament prize at the Euros. He has only started two games in the competition and directly contributed in 5 goals (3 goals and 2 assists).

The 26-year-old attacker has found the net in every single knockout round. Will he score in the final against England? We shall see.

In your opinion, should Manchester United bid £55million to sign Dani Olmo?
