If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are linked with Italian international and Brescia midfielder, Sandro Tonali.

According to an exclusive story covered by FCInterNews, the youngster is a wanted man in Europe and especially in Italy. It is stated that outside Italy, the likes of Manchester United and Dortmund have moved for the 19-year-old starlet.

Transfer: Man United have verbal agreement to sign £11million star – Report

The Italian outlet have mentioned that Serie A teams like Roma, Milan, Inter and champions Juventus are also interested in signing the teenager, who is already valued at around 35 million euros (£30.5million).

As far as Man United’s midfield is concerned, Solskjaer did not reinforce the department despite letting Herrera and Fellaini leave in the last two transfer windows. Unfortunately, the current crop of midfielders have been highly inconsistent.

At the moment, the senior most defensive midfielder in the side is Nemanja Matic, who has mostly warmed the bench in the current campaign. So, United do need a specialist play breaker, who would be able to provide a solid cover in front of the back four.

Tonali is mainly a defensive midfielder, who was impressive in the last campaign in the Serie B. He was solid in his defensive duties and also productive in the attacking third.

The youngster featured in 33 games for Brescia, scored 3 goals and provided 7 assists in their title winning campaign. In the top flight, he has so far featured in 6 games and provided 2 assists.

In your view, should United sign a highly in-experienced holding midfield player like Tonali?
