Man Utd have offered an interesting swap deal to Barcelona to hire the services of Uruguayan international, Ronald Araujo.

According to Spanish source, Nacional, the Red Devils are willing to send Mason Mount to Barca and also offer 55 million euros in cash in order to land the La Liga center half.

Last summer, the Old Trafford club agreed a deal worth £60million to sign the England international from Chelsea.

However, this season, Mount has either spent time on the injury table or put in average performances on the field when fit.

Therefore, the Catalan media outlet state that Man Utd have completely given up on the midfielder and want to include him in a swap deal to lure Ronald Araujo.

Before joining the 20-time English champions, Mount was a key player for the Blues, especially under the management of Thomas Tuchel.

He regularly scored and created goals and even set up the winning goal of the Champions League final in 2021.

This term, in 19 appearances for Man Utd, he has only found the net once and provided just a single assist. In all fairness, the supporters would not mind if he is sold to sign Araujo.

Last week, we covered a story via Sport claiming that the 25-year-old defender is also wanted by Bayern and is valued at £69million.

In your view, should Man Utd sell Mount in a swap move to sign Araujo?
