Manchester United have been in talks to sign Brazilian international and Ajax winger, Antony, and an offer has been submitted.
According to Goal.com, the Red Devils have moved in with a bid worth £51million for the South American star but the Dutch champions want around £68million for their prized asset.
The media outlet have mentioned that the Eredivisie giants are holding out for the above mentioned fee but Antony’s representatives are pressing them to accept a lower offer from the Old Trafford side.
The 22-year-old directly contributed in 22 goals for Ajax under Erik ten Hag last season and he mainly plays on the right flank.
At Old Trafford, the first choice RW was Mason Greenwood and the English attacker was also our top scoring right winger last term. However, due to controversy, he has been unavailable for months and his availability for the next season is still uncertain.
On the other hand, Marcus Rashford arguably had his worst season at Old Trafford and Anthony Martial did not impress in his loan spell with Sevilla.
Even big money signing, Jadon Sancho, failed to perform well in his first season in the Premier League and therefore, a top winger must be signed by Ten Hag.
In your view, should Man United raise their offer to sign Antony?
