More recently, the famous Spanish news outlet have published a report suggesting that the Samba star may finally end up leaving Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old has won every major title with the Los Blancos, including two Champions League crowns but his situation in the team could soon change.
The 15-time European champions are waiting for the imminent arrivals of Endrick and Kylian Mbappe.
Rodrygo mainly played in the center forward role in the 2023-24 campaign under Carlo Ancelotti. Before Benzema left last year, he was the main right winger.
Endrick’s preferred starting position is the right flank, on the other hand, Mbappe is expected to take the No.9 role with Vinicius expected to remain on the left flank.
Therefore, Rodrygo might find himself on the bench more often than not in the next campaign and could look to leave.
Sport claim the 23-year-old is happy at the Bernabeu but has not completely ruled out a move away from the club.
As per the Catalan source, Rodrygo knows Man Utd are willing to sign him and he is also aware of the interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Premier League champions, Manchester City.
The Samba star made 51 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid last term and directly contributed in 26 goals.
Man Utd lack quality in firepower. In your view, should they push to sign Rodrygo?
