£212,000-a-week star looks to agree pre-contract to sign for Man Utd – Report

Ramos and Isco

Manchester United have been linked with Sergio Ramos for quite some time and the latest reports seem highly positive for the Red Devils.

The Spanish international will be out of contract in the summer transfer window, therefore, he can agree a pre-contract with any foreign club this month and reports suggest that the legendary defender is looking to secure a move to Man Utd.

Transfer: Report – Man Utd ready to move to secure priority signing of £71million star in summer

According to an exclusive report covered by The Mirror, the 34-year-old’s talks with the Los Blancos have collapsed and he is expected to leave the club for free in summer.

The renowned British source have mentioned that the veteran center half can agree a pre-contract and a move to England with the Old Trafford club is eyed.

It is further stated that Ramos has already turned down offers from Paris Saint-Germain and Asia.

The £212,000-a-week (AS) star is a world class talent and he is still playing at the highest level with Real Madrid. Unfortunately, this season, he has missed a few games due to injury concerns.

The 178-capped international will turn 35 in March and he will still expect to agree a deal worth over £200,000-a-week to sign for a new side (The Mirror).

At Old Trafford, Man Utd have leaked goals on regular basis this term and they need to reinforce the back-line.

Solskjaer lured Harry Maguire in 2019 hoping that he would be able to transform the defense like Van Dijk has successfully done at Anfield. However, the England international has been inconsistent and the Norwegian manager is still in search of a leader of the backline.

Sergio Ramos can be that leader, he has won every major trophy with the Spanish club and the La Furia Roja, so, looking for a new challenge makes sense. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
