Solskjaer does ‘agree’ with Mourinho – Man Utd need this signing

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Man Utd boss

Jose Mourinho was mostly complaining during his time at Old Trafford and rarely was he satisfied with the transfers.

Our interim boss, Solskjaer, is content with the current crop of players available to him but as per The Independent, he does ‘agree’ with Mourinho in one area i.e. Man United need to sign a center half.

The British outlet have mentioned players like Skriniar, Militao and Koulibaly. The Senegalese international has recently suffered racial abuse in Italy and he could be interested in leaving Napoli in the January transfer window. If that is the case then Woodward must splash the cash to lure him. The Independent have stated that the African star could cost around £80million.

Transfer: Man Utd prepared to blow rivals out of water to sign £45million player – Report

Manchester United did heavily under-perform under the management of former boss Mourinho and now, they are doing brilliantly well under Solskjaer.

It will be fair to say that the Red Devils have not faced any of the top teams as yet but Solskjaer has emulated Busby to win the first four games in charge of the club and that is special.

The Old Trafford club still need to improve, that much we know and in all honesty, every fan is aware of the fact that the team needs to sign a top quality central defender, who could command the back-line.

The defensive stats have been worrying this season. So far, we have only kept 3 clean sheets and conceded 32 goals in 21 Premier League fixtures. So, let’s hope that Woodward will open the cheque-book and secure the signing of a top center half this month.
