Manchester United suffered humiliation at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League and they need a major overhaul in the summer transfer window to bounce back next season.
According to Mirror Sport, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be handed a huge transfer kitty worth £250million to secure key signings for Man United in the summer.
The British outlet have mentioned that the Red Devils are looking to bolster key departments in the transfer window and the likes of Sancho, De Ligt, Wan Bissaka and Hudson-Odoi are on their wish-list.
Transfer: Man Utd preparing to go head-to-head with rivals to sign £45million playmaker
As far as the right back position is concerned, Valencia and Young need to leave the club and United must sign a proven quality star, who could serve the team in the years to come. Dalot has proved to be decent but he needs to improve a lot as well. In such a scenario, Crystal Palace’s Wan Bissaka would be a top signing.
In the central defense, United lack a leader and someone like De Ligt would largely improve the back-line but as per ESPN, the Dutch international is set to leave Ajax for Barca in the summer.
In the wide-attacking positions, the Red Devils lack quality and depth and signings of Sancho and Hudson-Odoi would largely solve the ongoing concerns in the attacking third.
At the moment, the Old Trafford club are 6th in the Premier League table, two points behind Arsenal, who currently occupy the final CL qualification spot.
The above mentioned stars are top class but I think that luring them is not going to be easy, especially if Manchester United fail to qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
