Manchester United extended their winning run to five games after beating Reading in the third round of the FA Cup yesterday.
Interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made nine changes in his team that started the last Premier League fixture. United eventually won the contest 2-0 and Juan Mata and Lukaku were on the score-sheet for the Red Devils.
Chilean playmaker Alexis Sanchez made his first start under the management of the Norwegian boss and was influential.

The former Arsenal man returned from injury in the last PL game vs Newcastle United and provided the assist for the second goal of the game.
Similarly, yesterday, he set up the second goal of the contest vs Reading to confirm United’s place into the next round of the competition.
Since moving to United in January 2018, the ex Barcelona star has only netted four goals in all competitions. He has already provided 2 assists in 2 games under Solskjaer but some fans still want him sold.
On social media site Twitter, there were mixed reactions from Manchester United supporters after Alexis Sanchez’s display vs Reading. A few are provided below:
He is really good, but people keeping on judging him on goals, but to me, an assist is as important as a goal.— Reuben kamogelo (@Reuben49618416) 5 January 2019

He is the highest paid player in the league and delivering average performances whenever he plays not good enough ,he is suppose to be on the level of Hazard and Salah that is why we bought him and that is why he is on such high wages ,but he has been a flop— Martial fc (@davianfrancis23) 5 January 2019
Sell him out— ŠĽËÊPÏÑG ÃÇŤÍVΊŤ ? (@SleepinActivist) 5 January 2019
