Manchester United were defeated by Liverpool in their last league game and next up, the Red Devils will face Burnley at Old Trafford.

Fortunately, Chelsea have been dropping points consistently and last night, they failed to beat Arsenal, who played majority of the contest with 10 men.

So, United have the chance to move just three points behind the Blues by beating the Clarets tonight.

As far as the team news is concerned, first choice central defender Victor Lindelof was sent home early from training due to illness and he might not play vs Burnley. The likes of Tuanzebe and Rojo are still unavailable as well (The Sun).

In such a scenario, we can expect Eric Bailly to start his first senior game for the club this term. The Ivorian international was out injured for a long time. He played for 61 minutes for the U-23 team against Newcastle earlier this month and was on the bench vs the European Champions at Anfield.

The former Villareal star could start with Harry Maguire in the central defense in front of De Gea. The likes of Williams and Wan-Bissaka should retain their full-back starting positions.

In the central midfield, once again, the likes of Fred and Matic could get the nod to start. As far as the attack is concerned, Greenwood and Mata could return to start with the likes of James and Martial.
