Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed the former Paris Saint-Germain striker would be willing to join the Red Devils.
He told GiveMeSport:
“They (Bayern) still hope to keep the player at the club, but Choupo-Moting would be open to joining Man Utd.”
“So, I think it’s up to United. If Man Utd decide to attack the situation strongly, I think Choupo-Moting could be a candidate.”
On the other hand, as per Seb Ecrivain Foot, the Old Trafford outfit are in talks to sign the 34-year-old striker in the January transfer window on a 6-month loan.
Choupo-Moting will be out of contract in June and this term, he has been the third choice center forward at the Allianz.
Thus far, the £6.4m a year star has netted 2 goals in just 3 Bundesliga starts but still has a better record than our first choice striker, Hojlund, who has netted the same number of goals in 13 Premier League starts this season.
In your view, should Man Utd strike a deal with Bayern Munich to sign Choupo-Moting before deadline?
