Ten changes – Man Utd’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Rochdale

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Sad

Manchester United suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of West Ham United at the weekend and need to bounce back big time.

Next up, the Red Devils will face Rochdale in the third round of the Carabao Cup. We can expect Solskjaer to rest more than a few key players keeping in view the contest against Arsenal in the Premier League next weekend.

Transfer: Solskjaer plots raid to sign £50million playmaker for Man United – Report

Marcus Rashford suffered an injury against the Hammers, so, he should be out of the game tomorrow. Greenwood scored the winner vs Astana and then missed the last fixture due to illness. He could return to start in the CF role.

In the attacking midfield, Chong, Gomes and Lingard could return to start behind Greenwood.

As far as the midfield is concerned, Brazilian international Fred should return and replace McTominay to partner Matic in the center of the park.

In the back-line, Dalot, Tuanzebe, Jones and Rojo might return and Rojo should replace David De Gea in the goal.

Here is Man Utd’s probable 4-2-3-1 XI vs Rochdale:
