To reinforce the front line, the 20-time English champions are serious about signing Lois Openda.

According to Spanish source, Nacional, Erik ten Hag is obsessed and wants to bring the RB Leipzig forward to the club as soon as possible.

The Catalan media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd can offer a huge fee to lure the Belgian international from the German Bundesliga side.

United have been linked with the 23-year-old for some time and it would take a fee of around £78million to secure his signature.

In the current campaign, so far, Openda has featured in 11 games for Leipzig in all competitions, scored 5 goals and also provided 2 assists.

He has netted 2 goals in 11 appearances for Belgium and made his debut start for the Red Devils last night in the 3-2 victory against Austria.

Surprisingly, manager, Domenico Tedesco, utilized the natural center forward in the central midfield in the European Championships’ qualification contest and he featured for just 45 minutes.

Man Utd do need to improve the quality and depth of the striking department. In your opinion, should they offer £78million to sign Lois Openda?
