Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Matthijs de Ligt and are now ready to agree the asking fee of £42.3m to sign him.

According to MEN, the Red Devils have now agreed terms of a contract with the Dutch international to bring him to Old Trafford.

Now, as per today’s version of Bild (news image provided below) Man Utd are now willing to pay the £42.3m (50 million euros) demanded by Bayern to get the signing done.

The German media outlet have mentioned that De Ligt has already told the Bavarians and Ten Hag that he wants to move to Man Utd.

As per Bild:

“The United bosses are said to be ready to take a big step towards the transfer fee demanded by Bayern’s bosses”

It is stated that thanks to Man Utd’s willingness to pay £42.3m, ‘nothing should soon stand in the way of the move’.

All ‘signs point to a farewell’ and completion of the move after the European Championships.

As per another German source, AZ, De Ligt is ‘about to move’ to Man Utd. He has reached an agreement over personal terms and now, the fee must be agreed.

The Munich source have mentioned that United should pay £42.3m and the deal may go through this or next week.
