Manchester United are heavily linked with England international and Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to multiple reports going on in the media, the Red Devils moved in with an offer worth £40million to sign the highly rated right back, however, the Eagles opted to reject the bid and are looking to get around £60million for their prized asset (Sky Sports) (The Telegraph) (ESPN).

As far as personal terms are concerned, renowned Italian journalist Nicolo Schira claimed that the Old Trafford club have already reached an agreement with Wan-Bissaka and are in talks with Palace to get his signing done.

Transfer: Man United set to launch an audacious move to sign £75million playmaker on the cheap

Few hours back, Mirror Sport reported that Man Utd are now ready to make another move and believe that they have a chance of securing the signing for a fee of £50million.

Wan-Bissaka had a solid campaign for the Eagles last term and the 21-year-old is an extremely important member of Roy Hodgson’s squad. So, it will not come as any surprise if Palace opt to reject United’s second offer as well.

When Cristiano Ronaldo left Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson signed Antonio Valencia to replace him. The Ecuadorian star is mainly a winger but in the post-Ferguson era, he has been utilized in the right back position.

Valencia could only make 6 league appearances in the last campaign and in his absence, Ashley Young, another natural winger, played in the right back role for the club.

The two veterans are now past their best and I think that it is time for Solskjaer to finally sign a natural fullback for the position of right back to strengthen the shaky back-line at Old Trafford. Will Wan-Bissaka be that star? We shall see.
