Three changes – Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Tottenham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Sad

After the terrible defeat against arch rivals Liverpool and having earned only one point from the last four PL outings, it will be fair to say that Ole needs a victory vs Tottenham in order to save his job.

Spurs have been inconsistent as well but they did not spend a lot in the summer as compared to Manchester United and currently sit one point above them in the table.

As far as the team news is concerned, Solskjaer should make at least three changes to the XI that started vs the Anfield club last Sunday.

In the back-line, Shaw is looking like a shadow of the player he was in the last campaign. After a shambolic performance vs Liverpool, he should be dropped and Telles may start in the left back position.

Paul Pogba is suspended after receiving a straight red card in the last game. Man Utd need cover in front of the back four and therefore, we can expect, natural DM, Matic to return and start with McTominay in the center of the park.

In the attack, summer signing Jadon Sancho may get the nod to start on the right flank in place of Mason Greenwood. The likes of Ronaldo, Fernandes and Rashford would likely retain their places in the team.
