The renowned German media outlet have mentioned that at Man Utd, Tuchel is ‘at the top’ of the list if the PL side part ways with Erik ten Hag.

United defeated Newcastle in the Premier League last night in the final home game of the campaign and Ten Hag admitted the shortcomings.

The Red Devils will not be playing Champions League football next season and the Dutch manager may be shown the exit door.

Tuchel is a decorated manager, who has won the Champions League, French League and German League titles.

He is one of the few managers who have been able to trouble the mighty Real Madrid. In 2021, his Chelsea side eliminated the Los Blancos in route to lift the trophy.

Moreover, in 2022 (Chelsea) and this term (Bayern), the £204,000 a week manager was once again on the verge of knocking out the Spanish giants but their late comebacks turned the ties around.

Bild claim Bayern are finding it hard to get a replacement, they would have loved to lure Klopp but the Liverpool manager is taking a break.

Therefore, the Bavarians are even thinking about holding on to Thomas Tuchel but German legend, Lothar Matthaus, has backed the coach to leave. He stated:

“From Thomas Tuchel’s point of view, I say: he doesn’t need to stay at Bayern. Especially since I think that the sting still runs deep for him. He would also have other options to work at top clubs in Europe.”

In your opinion, should Man Utd sign Tuchel to replace Ten Hag?
