‘Very clear’ – Expert reveals £59m ‘top class’ player ready to agree Man Utd move

Casemiro turned back the clock with his second-half performance against Man City in the Community Shield final.

The Real Madrid legend was at his imperious best, sweeping up balls in the defense and providing some sumptuous over-the-top balls to the runners ahead of him.

Transfer: Man Utd prepare offer to finally sign £100million star before deadline – Report

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Brazilian play with as much conviction as he did. It does increasingly look like Casemiro will be a United player for the time being and it bodes well for the club to know he has still got in him.

That said, the Red Devils will also know that it isn’t wise to put all their eggs in one basket considering Casemiro is no longer that player who never needed a replacement in Real Madrid. Man Utd need to groom someone for the future.

For some time now, they have tried to sign Manuel Ugarte from PSG without really reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 club. The player is willing to come to Old Trafford this summer and continues to wait for a move.

Speaking about the situation, transfer expert, Graeme Bailey, offered some insight on United in Focus, revealing that Ugarte has made it very clear that he only wants Man Utd:

“Ugarte has made it very clear to representatives of other clubs that he wants United. That’s probably why we are not seeing a host of links there, he does have interest elsewhere, he was one of the most wanted players in Europe this time last year when Chelsea were desperately trying to get him and PSG got him.”

“He’s a top class performer, he wants to come to United, I think United are holding onto hope they get him for a little bit less. I think that’s the ball park (£40-45 million).”

PSG want around £59m to part ways with him this summer, a fee Man Utd are not ready to meet and rightly so.

However, the Ligue 1 giants are likely to budge on the price as the days continue to go by in the transfer window.

Ugarte has no future in Parc des Princes with Luis Enrique making it very clear that he doesn’t trust him. The club have moved to secure Joao Neves meaning they have to make Ugarte’s sale happen by the end of this window.

Thus, Man Utd are in the driving seat to sign the Uruguayan international. The player wants to come to Old Trafford and one could expect this deal to happen before the conclusion of the window.
